Ageing causes unnecessary cognitive decline. We don’t stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing. This Cognitive Decline Intervention programme (CDIP) is designed to significantly improve cognitive functions in individuals by stimulating the brain in key areas through sensory and auditory stimulation, problem-solving, creativity, memory and recall, and improving dexterity. This CDIP programme is specially curated for active-agers. The program is based on research and positive evidence demonstrating the benefits of activities that develop cognitive functions. It is suitable for a wider range of beneficiaries from autistic, Down, ADD, mild to intermediate dementia with the versatility of the activity cards. It is highly engaging, fun and supports social interaction amongst children and adults. We train trainers to be certified in delivering LEGO Six-Bricks workshops, and to be able to create their own programmes for your beneficiaries. We also provide training to deliver a curated weekly programme of pre-set fun activity sessions. The CDIP activity programme is designed to stimulate the brain to reduce memory loss, and improve core cognitive skills including attention, concentration, comprehension, perception, memory, reasoning, and processing speed. The activity cards contained in the curated programme include 500 interactive exercises that cover different levels of difficulty which enable individuals to set goals and measure their progress. The programme contains a complete training manual and structured implementation procedure. This weekly deck of 48 cards is split into Introductory, Intermediate and Advanced Levels. They can be used for 3 different persons per week at any one time according to their competency. This is a regular play date for parents and children to play with LEGO and six bricks activities together. It’s a playful and social interaction time for both adults and children to connect with their imagination and creativity. This time, we built a Mythical creature of special power.
